European Standards

A rack cabinet or electrical enclosure body earns its place in the European market not simply by being well built, but by being designed to the relevant norms. For our outdoor-rated cabinets, ingress protection (IP rating) targets are set in line with EN 60529 practice; our surface finishes stay consistent with the RAL color standard, giving projects and markets a common visual reference point.

We use widely accepted European engineering practice for low-voltage switchgear and control-enclosure bodies as a reference point in our product development — shaping decisions from structural strength to creepage-and-clearance requirements. The "safety and conformity from the design stage onward" approach that underpins CE marking logic is one we treat as part of our own engineering discipline.

Our export-oriented way of working makes standards alignment a requirement, not an option: offering product variants suited to different countries' grid, climate and regulatory conditions is only possible with a design architecture that is flexible yet faithful to standards. We aim to make the technical documentation, dimensional reports and any certification our customers and dealers need accessible from a single point through our Document Center.

We closely follow next-generation regulations such as the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the digital product passport, and building a structure — across both our steel supply chain and our product documentation — that adapts to these evolving expectations in good time is a priority for us.
