Steel, the primary body material in rack cabinets and electrical enclosures, is by its nature a resource that can be recycled repeatedly without loss of quality. Sheet offcuts and scrap metal generated during production are separated and recovered, an approach that reduces raw-material consumption while also helping keep production costs in check.

One of the clearest measures of sustainability is product lifespan. Thanks to full-steel construction and a modular accessory architecture, a VATPAN cabinet is designed not as a single-use item but as a long-lived piece of infrastructure that stays in service for years and can be extended with accessories as needs change — meaning less waste, less raw-material consumption, and a lower total cost of ownership over time.

Conscientious use of chemicals and energy is a priority throughout our coating processes, and we continuously look for ways to reduce unnecessary material in our packaging. Monitoring and improving energy use on our production floor is treated not as a short-term project but as an ongoing discipline.

We closely follow the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and emerging digital product passport requirements, and we're working to build a production structure ready to meet the embedded-carbon and traceability expectations of the markets we export to. That vision is as much a part of our environmental responsibility as it is of our long-term export competitiveness.
